Hello,

This is my first time on here, I was lucky until recently. I needed to expand my cache pool on the server, so wasn't able to access emby for some days. Once back one, I updated to the 4.5.4 and since then I'm enable to play any media(films, photos or music). I get the Playback error. No compatible streams are currently available. Please try again later or contact your system administrator for details.
I feel it is something simple to fix but I can't see it. I'm also not the most technical person out there.
I hope someone can help.

Thanks.

Hey Luke,

Thanks for the quick reply. Here is attached the logs and transcoding reports which when I added the new SSD. I added that new SSD as the cache pool was full and all dockers including Emby wasn't accessible. I was then able to download emby again(4.5.4) but only to get the playback error screen.

Let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks.

See the error in the ffmpeg log. Either the file has gone missing, or emby server is being denied access to it.

Ok Luke thank you.

So during Christmas I lost of the dockers on unraid due to a lack of cache pool space so when I added another SSD to the cache pool, I was able to access dockers again and reinstall emby.  I didn't need to put all the other dockers back as my job of ripping films was done I thought I just needed to keep Emby going forward. Could it have something to do with?

I'm not sure where to start, all the files are still there on the server, I can see them all. This is maybe a silly question but since all my movies are mkv files would I require to install the mkv docker back to enable their playing on Emby?

Thank you for your help.

What is the mkv docker? I've never heard of that.

it's the docker(MakeMKV) I used on unraid to rip the movies into mkv format. But I don't think the issue comes from there as its only used to format the files into MKV.

I would find it strange that Emby wouldn't have access to it but I will recheck the setting of the EmbyServer docker on unraid, I may have left a box unticked.

I will report back if I have no luck.

Thanks,

Hey Luke,

Thanks for checking. So I did discover when I reinstall the embyserver docker on unraid the host path was set up differently than the emby library mount point. A silly mistake on my part.

Thank you for helping out.
