Password expired or forgot

Hi all, 

i recently can't login to my emby server. I don't know if password has expired (can it be possible?) or i just forgot it.

I'm trying to reset the password using "Password forgot" function but after entering the username, "send" button does nothing.

Is there anything i can do?

My Emby Server is on a raspberry pi 4. I tried accessing from app and from web page. I hope i answered the question.

What version of Emby Server are you running?

How can i determine it? I suppose it is the latest: i just did a sudo apt-get upgrade && update..

Solved: root folder was full. Password didn't change. 

I couldn't imagine disk space was related to login success.

Sorry yes this scenario has been reported before when the Emby runs out of disk space it basically lock the users out for some reason.  Usually transcoding folder taking up all disk space.

I have run into this exact issue, docker was filled to the brim by a new app, couldn't log into emby. flushed the docker.img and cleared out the garbage, so there is space again, but still am locked out of the server with no way to get back in. how exactly do I unlock the users after they have been locked?

Hi there, what exactly do you mean by locked out? What are you seeing?

wow you're fast man. 

emby did lock me out when I initially filled the cache drive where all my app data is kept. but I installed the wrong emby docker app from what I was using before and that is why it wasn't letting me log in  go figure. all good now.

Depends on if it is a Local user or a Connect user password.  How are you connecting to Emby?
