Emby not pulling in images from any source

Recommended Posts

I have been setting up my new Emby Server, unfortunately it fails to pull in images for show covers, season posters, thumbnails, actors, everything. Same for movies. (images below)

I have the metadata set to scan TVDB, Open Movie Database, The Movie Database, put it isn't doing it.

Does any one have any idea how to fix this?

Much appreciated.

Did you follow the naming conventions?

Media Preparation : Emby

Does it work by identifying an item manually?

Hi,

Yes I have followed the proper naming convention, just double checked.

In regards to identifying manually, the show is self identified by Emby already, in the second screenshot it shows that it knows what the show is and who's in it, it just cant pull any images. I have tried manually identifying it anyway and it makes no difference unfortunately.

Thanks.

Post your server log, maybe you have permissions issues.

Hi.  All outbound requests are failing.  Do you have some sort of network watchdog or other security type software interfering?

Hi. Are you running behind a VPN service?  I've seen some meta-providers blocking VPN connections.

Not just meta-providers, it seems blocked all outbound traffic:
