joshua4 12 Posted December 28, 2020 Posted December 28, 2020 (edited) Version 4.5.4.0 on Windows 10 I'm having a problem with Library Scans freezing at some percentage. Searching the forums, this is a common problem going back to the beginning of Emby. There doesn't seem to be any recourse other than posting to the forums. There really needs to be a log file for Library Scans. I should be able to go here and view what Emby is doing during Library Scans. Then see any errors, some filename with an invalid character or something stupid causing the problem - permissions issue, whatever. Edited December 28, 2020 by joshua4
Luke 42091 Posted December 28, 2020 Posted December 28, 2020 Hi, errors that are raised during scanning will get logged to the main server log. Please attach the emby server log and we'll review your issue. thanks.

EmbyServer.txt is where you look for nearly everything.
