bmflagg 21 Posted December 28, 2020 Posted December 28, 2020 After running EMBY successfully for years on my Windows 7 MCE box , I decided to move EMBY to my QNAP device and retire the older windows 7 MCE box. I have EMBY running fine on QNAP now, but there is a weird problem ONLY on this QNAP box. Using MS Edge (latest variant) I get to the log in screen, and I get a error..."error code: RESULT_CODE_KILLED_BAD_MESSAGE" On Chrome.. I can log in successfully. I shut down my QNAP and fire up my windows 7 version and, voila.. I can connect with edge no problem. Luke / Moderators.. can you help?

bmflagg 21 Posted December 28, 2020 Author Posted December 28, 2020 i'll be damned..I overlooked that.. 192.168.50.4 works fine... I tried a dns alias to this address (nas1 by default) but I must've missed something...probably misconfigured...

In the network settings in emby, it had my older retired win7 IP thinking of orphaned clients.. I cleared that... and voila! Thank you for the quick reply! Edited December 28, 2020 by bmflagg
