OK, I'll look into it.  Do any other subtitles streams (aside from ASS/SSA) work?  Do SRT subs work?

Try deleting the /var/lib/emby/cache/subtitles folder, then try again and attach the emby server log. thanks.

OK, I know what's causing this.  It's triggered in the case where the stream is transcoding.  It should be resolved in the next release.  Thanks
