wondermouse 0 Posted December 25, 2020 Posted December 25, 2020 (edited) Hi, I see a discrepancy in the time formats used by the Android TV client. The main clock correctly uses the system time format (24-hour) but for a recently added TV series the time format is AM/PM which is incorrect in my case. Might be that this simply is a matter of incorrectly formatted metadata, but can't find where that would be. Only seeing this in the Android TV client, not in the Desktop web GUI or in the Android mobile client. Any idea where I might find the airtime data and why it is using AM/PM format? ------------------------------------------------------ Emby Server Version 4.5.4.0 Server HW: Mac mini (Mid 2011, i5, 16GB) OS: macOS Version 10.13 Android TV Sony KD-55XF9005 Android Version 8.0.0 Emby client Version 1.8.24g Androd Mobile Sony Xperia 5 II Android Version 10 Emby client Version 3.1.73 Cheers /Jacob Edited December 25, 2020 by wondermouse
wondermouse 0 Posted December 26, 2020 Author Posted December 26, 2020 Only in the Android TV client: Not a big deal really, just annoying. Would be good to know why it happens though.

I didn't think we even show that information anymore because it is so irrelevant for a lot of series now. But, to answer your question, that is text coming from the server as opposed to a time that the app is displaying.
wondermouse 0 Posted December 26, 2020 Author Posted December 26, 2020 Have auto updates enabled so should be the latest available to me. I'll check to make sure as soon as I can though Android TV Sony KD-55XF9005 Android Version 8.0.0 Emby client Version 1.8.24g
ebr 16184 Posted December 26, 2020 Posted December 26, 2020 Are you sure that isn't 54? That is the latest version. I think it is actually the server that has stopped delivering the information now but we will also remove it from the app.
wondermouse 0 Posted December 26, 2020 Author Posted December 26, 2020 (edited) Yup, definitely 1.8.24g: Agree it's not really relevant these days. I'll wait for an update to the app then I guess. Thanks! Edited December 26, 2020 by wondermouse
ebr 16184 Posted December 26, 2020 Posted December 26, 2020 Try forcing an update now because you should have .54.
wondermouse 0 Posted December 26, 2020 Author Posted December 26, 2020 Had to reboot the TV, weird. Now on 1.8.58g but with the same issue in the app:
ebr 16184 Posted December 26, 2020 Posted December 26, 2020 What version of the server? This will be removed entirely from the app in the next version.
wondermouse 0 Posted December 26, 2020 Author Posted December 26, 2020 Can wait until next release of the Android TV client and see if the issue is resolved in that.
