Music Concerts

Hello,

Just some advice really. I have a library folder I've called 'Music Concerts' which consists of a mixture of ripped concert DVDs and live performances of bands I've downloaded from youtube. I've set the library as a 'Movie' type. Is that how you've set up similar libraries? Is that correct?

Also, I want the default view on the app to be 'folders' (eg Chvrches, London Grammar, Genesis etc). How do I change the default view on the firestick app so that it defaults to the folder view?

My windows file structure is:

Band (Chvrches)

Video name (Glastonbury 2008)

Thanks|!

Hi.  Click the "cog" button at the top right of the library view you wish to change.

Thank you. It was staring me in the face!

Hello @Chalklands,

I am looking to set up a similar library.  How did this work out for you?  Can you tell me if it should be a movie library, and any metadata and/or file structure you could suggest?

I appreciate any advice you have...

A movie library probably makes sense.

A Movie library is what I ended up doing after reading around.  It's interesting to see how many people also struggle with trying to twist their server into a place to collect everything.  Interviews, videos, concerts, TV appearances, etc...  At least I'm not the only nutcase.  LOL
