Actor information missing after software update

Hi folks,

About a week ago I updated my Windows Emby Server from some very very old version, to the current 4.5.something. Actually I think I updated twice last week because a new update hit a day after I finally updated my old version. I'm now on 4.5.4.0

Anyway, a few days after this I noticed that no actors had any details of their career listing. Happens with Emby Theater or just the web interface. If I click on any actor, no matter how famous and storied their career, the text details I'm used to seeing are gone.

Refreshing metadata doesn't correct this.  Any idea what is going on? For example, here is a screencap of Bob Odenkirk:

How do I get my actor details back?

Thanks!

Actually what your are seeing is a somewhat unidentified person.  It would appear to have a image from TVDB.  Is this a person from a TV library?

People are tricky and do to provider requests there is not easy way to update them without spamming their site (TMDB).  All you can do is Refresh the person to get the TMDB if.

Only way around this would be having TMDB as first provider for Movies and TV but that could create different issues.

Would need to see the server log for this action.

What providers are enable for TV and Movie libraries?

Thanks for the reply @Happy2Play. I did some further search and the problem seems to be confined the the few things I've added to the server lately, all TV shows.  The Bob Odenkirk entry was from the latest season of Better Call Saul; same problem effects latest season of Killing Eve. Haven't added much other stuff lately.

I looked at a bunch of content added longer-ago and it seems to have actor details, by and large.

It has been a while since I've done much with EMBY other than use it to play stuff already in my library. Refresh my memory... where do I choose the the providers for TV?

Dashboard-Library in each library (enable Advanced setting) to see more options.

OK, found providers. TheTVDB is enabled, also open movie database:

Neither one of those actually provider people information/metadata (TVDB can provide a image).  Only TMDB does, so any new person coming in from a TV library can not get any information is the way i understand the workflow.

This is a issue of People being a sudo item of said library.

OK, I tweaked a feTVDB2.thumb.jpg.4806f653771f39359b5ffba5fdb9185c.jpgw things then ran a refresh metadata. That sorted it! My settings now look like this:
