Hello,

Ive been using Emby for at least a year. Ive been streaming from my server to a tablet with no issues. Just playing the radio, etc. This is done via firefox on the tablet.

Something odd has happened. Once I bought a lifetime subscription and entered in the key the stream keeps stopping. It randomly just stops and I have to play it again. This happens on different stations and streams whereas before entering in the key it never did.

Does entering in the key do something to the client? It there some sort of check or something as I cannot figure out why the stream keeps stopping. There has been no other change in position or equipment.

Maybe your Firefox or Emby server are not running the latest versions?

Make sure you are using the latest FIrefox version. Make sure to also check your Emby server is fully updated. Once you have done this restart your server and use the link above for how to report a problem. Once you are sure you are running latest versions of both Firefox and Emby server go ahead and follow the directions on the link.

Everything is the latest version.

Hi.  Whatever is going on here is unrelated to Premiere, I'm fairly certain.  Please provide specifics on an example.

I agree that it is unlikely to be Emby related but that had been the only change. I'll try and play with the settings... can the buffer be increased? I can only think its stopping because of an interruption in the wifi?

im not transcoding. Its just an internet radio stream in mp3 over wifi so not much load.

Hi there, can you please provide an example by attaching the information requested in how to report a media playback issue? Thanks !

Please see attached server log.

It shows that it is actually transcoding the mp3 stream I think... which I was unaware of.

Edit: I just tested used another streaming program and the same disconnects are happening so its not Emby.
