New Hardware, new to AMD. Now transcode problem? Need help

love new hardware just one problem! 

 

Been using Intel since 2004.Switched to Ryzen 3700x this week plus gtx 1050 2gb.

Everything works AMAZING except the one BIG glitch today and I think I'm close to figuring it out. 

So my wife was watching SWAT on CBS tonight, using "watching from beginning" while it was being recorded via hdhomerun. She was 4 minutes into the show, playing from beginning, and there was about 10 min left until the show was supposed to stop recording, and the show started to barf, skip, then freeze and couldnt playback after trying on multiple devices.  So I checked the actual 5gb or so .TS file, but it had ZERO Mediainfo and also wouldn't play on windows nor vlc. 

 

 

ALSO, the whole time she was having this issue,I was logged in via rdp to emby server windows and tested the CBS channel in Chrome. Then I find out that I forgot to change transcoding settings from my emby backup when installing to new amd hardware. Under transcoding was selected to ADVANCED with NOTHING checked! 

Also, being new to AMD, I really don't know what Hardware settings to choose, if any. I rarely if ever transcode H 265 i ONLY transcode h.264. 

 

 

-So what logs do I post for help? 

-And which hardware do I select or use for transcoding? (what would most people use 3700x or 1050 2gb?)

-P.s. I have MCEbuddy also running could selecting "Delete original file" setting in MCE have caused this all?

EDIT i'm attaching logs. Does it matter that these logs are from 2 hours after when the problem happened? Do you need a log closer to when the event happened?

Ok, i'm not sure what is going on. Very confused... As i just looked again AND FOUND the Converted ts to mp4 of the show in question and it works perfectly....

Whereas i previously found only the 5gb .ts file from emby, the file that didnt work. 

All i can think of is: I recently (today) changed setting in MCEbuddy to Delete the .ts file after/while converting and i am thinking that somehow MCE tried to delete the .ts file while we were watching it in Emby? btw i deselected that option now

Hoping the logs will tell you guys something.
