Setting up with multiple emby guides

Just want to make sure I am on the right track, before I got further.

I have an m3u file from an IPTV supplier. I have run it through xteve, remove the channels I do not want and assigned channel numbers as follows:

UK - 101 to 990 (matches sky tv listings), US - 1000 to 3000 & Canada 4000 onwards

I have imported the m3u into Emby and successfully mapped the UK channels using Emby guide data. All good so far.

Next step, is to set up the US channels. Do I just select USA as country, enter zipcode and select the correct source, and manually map where needed?

Will this affect my UK channel setup in any way?

Yes that would be the way to go.  You can have multiple lineups for 1 m3u file.
