chuckr1958 2 Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 Not sure if "alignment" is the proper word I am look for, but I've run into a few cases where the TVDB metadata indicates more episodes than I've downloaded. For example, Star Trek Voyager, according to TVDB (and IMDB), the first episode is a two-part episode, whereas my download has it as one. I've attempted to rename the files accordingly, but then end up with 15 files but Emby shows 16 with one missing episode. I would be okay if I could split the first episode into two, but don't know how. Is there a way to force Emby to align with what I have in my folder? Or I'll take any suggestions.
Luke 42081 Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 Hi there, did you enable the missing episodes feature?
chuckr1958 2 Posted December 16, 2020 Author Posted December 16, 2020 Yes, that was enabled, under "advanced features" when editing the TV Show settings.
chuckr1958 2 Posted December 16, 2020 Author Posted December 16, 2020 I found your article on media file naming and renamed the files according to TheTVDB and the first file as S01E01E02 and the re-scan aligned them up correctly. Thanks for having the KB article published. 1
