Local lag with big 4k movies

Hi,

Is it possible that a file can be too big to use even locally? A couple of days ago I tried to stream a 4k movie with a bitrate of 90mbps and every few seconds it stopped playing, I know my download speed is around 50mbps does that have something to do with it? If so does that mean I can never play movies with a bigger bitrate that 50 in my house?

Hi, Was the device you were playing this on connected by wifi or Ethernet?
If it's wifi, you could be hitting the limit of your wifi setup.

Also what device were you using?  It's possible the device being used can't handle bitrates that high.

Okay never mind I'm so sorry, plugged in the ethernet cable and problem was gone. Thank you so much
