Future suggestion: TiVo style WishList Searches + auto recording

It's been many years since I had a TiVo, but one feature that I recall was quite handy, and that was WishList Searches. 

Say for example I want to record any and all shows staring a particular actor/actress or genre -- or indeed keyword -- you could enter your terms and save them. 

Then, whenever the Guide is updated, your scheduler automatically records matching WishList programming, assuming it doesn't conflict with your existing recording schedule. 

Possible?
