Fast Forward/ Backward not working properly in 4.5.3.0

Hi,

the shortcut is not working properly in Firefox.

How to reproduce:

1. Play video

2. Press "Shift + arrow right/left"

3. Nothing happens

4. Workaround: Click in "progressing bar" to skip to some point in the video. Now the shortcut works. If i focus again on another element (Starting/stopping video etc.) it wont work again.

Hi, For comparison could you try this in Chrome and see how that compares?

Same behavior. Tried it in Windows 10 (Firefox,Chrome) and ubuntu (firefox).

I tested and it works just fine, however, it does not work when a button has focus because the left and right arrows will be used for navigating the osd. 

So when the osd is not visible, it works just fine.

You are right. This is the same behavior here. Did this change from the last version?

 

So this might now just be a feature request:

In all web players I know of, the keyboard focus is per default on the video (Youtube, Netflix ...)

In Netflix the focus even automatically switches back to the video after using buttons (Even if they are still visible)

I don't believe it has changed, but it's something we can take a look at.
