crownapocalypse 0 Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 After I've set up correctly my username and password in the configuration page of the opensubtitles plugin, trying to search for subtitles in a certain video content throws me message 'No results found. Have you configured subtitle downloading?' Any ideas why is not working?
Luke 42077 Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 Hi there, did you also make sure to configure subtitle downloading in your library options?
tophneal 1 Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 I'm seeing this issue, too. With OpenSubtitles and Addic7ed. I've verified that my library settings have both listed/enabled. In the library settings, OpenSubtitles has a warning that my account needs to be setup, but the information is already populated and saved in the plugin settings. (I've clicked Save more than a few times.) When searching for subtitles, I also see "No results found. Have you configured subtitle downloading?" I've tried uninstalling, restarting Emby server, reinstalling, restarting again, then configuring with both plugins, with no success.

Usually it's a matter of your filters are too strict causing no results to come back. Please see this guide on automated downloads: https://support.emby.media/support/solutions/articles/44001848854-automatic-subtitle-downloads and manual downloads: https://support.emby.media/support/solutions/articles/44001848856-manual-subtitle-downloads Depending on which one you're using.
tophneal 1 Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 I've attached a screenshot my settings for subtitles. I haven't enabled any of the filters given in those docs
Luke 42077 Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 Could also be a connection problem with open subtitles. Please attach the emby server log. Thanks

Open subtitles has no errors so that just means there aren't any matches for what you're searching for.
tophneal 1 Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 Well that’s a bummer. Thanks for taking a look!
