riverboat2001 20 Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 (edited) I decided to let my Schedules direct membership lapse as I mostly use IPTV and have my channels mapped and working perfectly. However, when my internet drops out I have a backup using an old Sky dish, and a twin DVBS card. Today I tried to use those channels (that had a perfect guide up until yesterday when my SD membership ran out) and they are now blank. So I thought I'd set up the Guide Data provided by emby. So TV Guide Data Providers. Click + button. Select UK and Guide Source as Emby Guide Data, click next. Input postcode, and it returns " There was an error downloading TV lineups. Please ensure your information is correct and try again" If I try clicking on the lineup button the dropdown is blank. So I paid for schedules direct and try again. enter username and password. GB and postcode, and dropdown populates with United Kingdom - Cable and this returns with "There was an error adding the lineup to your Schedules Direct account. Schedules Direct only allows a limited number of lineups per account. You may need to log into the Schedules Direct website and remove others listings from your account before proceeding" It's been so long since i had to set it up that i can't remember what i need to do. How do i remove a lineup? i can't see anyway to do it! And it was actually working fine yesterday. I have an Emby Premier Lifetime Licence. PS Under the SD account details I can see NextPVR ticked (I use NextPVR du to my DVBS device) Edited December 7, 2020 by riverboat2001
Luke 42085 Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 Hi there, please attach the emby server log. thanks.
Carlo 4561 Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 @Luke I've helped users remotely tripped up on this. Could we add a little blurb to the web setup screen for this if they choose UK and Emby Guide Data? 1
Luke 42085 Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 Can you give an example of a before and after correction?

Luke 42085 Posted December 12, 2020 Posted December 12, 2020 I'm asking for examples just in case we might be able to handle it internally instead.
pwhodges 2014 Posted December 12, 2020 Posted December 12, 2020 The UK postcode has many options within the format. But all you need to know is that after 2, 3, or 4 characters (of which the first is a letter and the last is a digit) there is a space, and that in this case everything from that space on is to be discarded if the user has typed it. ebr 16193 Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 Right. The UI could trim it at the first space. 1
Luke 42085 Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 So for example: A123 456 would just become: A123 ? Is that correct?
pwhodges 2014 Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 (edited) Exactly. The part before the space can be 2, 3, or 4 characters long, but you have no need to know the format within that. But if you just can't hold back, here's the full detail. In effect, the first part of the code (the "outcode", which is the part you need) designates the sorting office the mail will go to for delivery, and the second gives the delivery round it will go out on. Carlo 4561 Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 Bingo, everything up to the first space.
Luke 42085 Posted December 14, 2020 Posted December 14, 2020 OK I'll try to incorporate this. Thanks. 1
