JeremyG 30 Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 Why do I get "ContainerBitrateExceedsLimit " in the transcode log? This is going to a Roku Ultra. I'm on a LAN and the bitrate of the video is 71.5 mbps. I would think that should be fine: Overall bit rate mode : Variable Overall bit rate : 71.5 Mb/s
Luke 42085 Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 HI there, did you check your quality setting in the Roku app?
ebr 16190 Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 Hi. That is over twice the spec for Roku devices but you can set the app to a higher bitrate and see if it plays okay.
JeremyG 30 Posted December 7, 2020 Author Posted December 7, 2020 (edited) Wow! I didn't know that was there! Set it to max and it is working with no transcoding. Performance seems fine, other than some expected delay when skipping forward/back. Only thing I'm not 100% sure of now is whether the HDR is actually working. The image is not "washed out" like it was when being trancoded...however it seems a little "less colorful" than when watching it directly off a USB stick plugged into my TV.
