Problems streaming to Emby on Apple TV

I've recently been experiencing issues with streaming live and recorded TV to my Emby app on Apple TV. It works for 3 to 5 minutes, stops for about a minute and then starts again. I'm attaching ffmpeg-transcode logs of before & after it stops. Hopefully these will elucidate the problem. Some observations:

- Emby seems to think I'm running D3D11 when in fact I'm running D3D12, which is standard for Windows 10
- there's an "Invalid frame dimensions 0x0" error near the top of the log
- near the end of the log there's a "[q] command received. Exiting." which coincides with an interruption in my video stream
FFMpeg transcoding fails with "Could not find file 'D:\Recorded TV\TempRec\transcoding-temp\D6B04B_48.ts'"

Is this a bug with QuickSync HW acceleration?

Try to update Emby for Apple TV app, it's very important if you have tvOS 14.2

Quote

1.5.0

  • Changes:
    • The Up Next dialog in the native player has returned. This was a tvOS issue.
    • The Series poster now shows in the OSD of the native player
    • Support for Multi-episode files has been added. These files will now show correctly in seasons (e.g. if a single file was for episodes 12 and 13 of a season it'll now show as 12-13 similar to the webapp)
    • Improved the handling of series specials to align with the webapp
    • The Audio / Subtitles tracks in the MPV player are no longer red
    • The OSD has been modified to match more closely with the native player
    • Localization updates for DA, de-DE, de-US, es-ES and SK locales
    • MPV OSD updates:
      • More lines of text are now visible for items that may have a long Overview
      • Poster image is now larger
      • Episode title matches native player
  • Bug Fixes:
    • (MPV Player) Fixed an issue where the current time wouldn't be visible when it was around a minute or less
    • The issue of the Home Menu not properly navigating to the correct item (Favorites would become Search, search would become Settings) has been resolved. We moved the Now Playing menu item to the end to fix this.
    • Music playback has been fixed by disabling Picture-in-Picture support per Apple. According to Apple support an app cannot support PIP and play audio
    • The buttons on the Change Server and Switch User screens are now aligned properly

That seems to have taken care of it, thanks!
