What do you mean by that?  I'm a very basic user.  I have movies and some TV shows on my NAS,  All I use it for is local playback.

Hi.  I mean that, with us, you are just accessing your own local server and content.  It never goes "through" us.  The other guys - OTOH - have you go through them for everything (through a centralized account).  That way, they have access to all your users so they can track and market to them for their content partners.

Hi.  You gained an actual personal media server system :).

OK, thanks for the info.  Maybe I should ask this.  So I have EMBY server on the same PC as PLEX servers, files are on the NAS.  Have PLEX and EMBY app's on my Shield.  I have a lot more issues with buffering on EMBY then I do in PLEX.    I have every thing set to pass through, and I can see that there is no transcoding with in the apps.  So any thoughts on this?

Hi.  We'd have to look at a specific example.  Please start a new thread to do that.

Thanks.
