codelogic 2 Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 (edited) Update: Working now.. took almost 15 minutes for the server to load. Have never seen it take more than a couple minutes. Apologies! I've been running an Emby server for almost ten months now with very little to no issues at all. This morning I check the dashboard and there was an alert saying the library scan failed. I tried running the task again with same result. So I restarted the server from the dashboard and after several minutes was still stuck at the "emby server is loading, please try again shortly." I waited approx another ten minutes with the same result. So I restarted the physical server, and am still stuck at the same page. I've tried on the local machine itself, devices both on and off my network with no success. The ONLY thing I have done with the server in the last 24 hours, aside from adding new content, was install the DLNA plug in, restarted the server and all was fine. I did NOT configure or change ANY settings related to the DLNA plug in. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I will gladly attach logs, but I do not know where to get them from Edited December 4, 2020 by codelogic
Carlo 4561 Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 Hi, If you want to attach a log we can look at it to see if there is anything telling in it.
codelogic 2 Posted December 6, 2020 Author Posted December 6, 2020 @cayars- Thanks but I recycled the logs yesterday. All seems to be working fine now, but I will definitely come back if I run into more issues. This forum is great btw - I've used it more times than i can think of to resolve issues, this was the first time I've ever posted tho. Have had a couple odd issues over the past 8 months with Firesticks & Transcoding, but never seem to find the time to copy the logs and post on here - will have to start doing it! Thanks again m8!
Carlo 4561 Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 Not a problem. Glad it's working now but if it happens again post the logs.
