marauder 17 Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 I've been spending the time lately to clean up my system. I just went though and fixed all my movie folder naming and layout so that all my files show up in Radarr. So I have 843 movies listed in Radarr and under my movie folder it lists 843. So I wanted to compare this with Emby to make sure it had found all my movies. I used the statistics plugin to get the list which showed only 819 movies. So I'm missing movies. I copied the library.db file to my local machine and used DB Browser for SQ Lite to open it. I then read from the TypeBasedItems table and saved it all to a CSV. Then filtered the CSV on Type = MediaBrowser.Controller.Entities.Movies.Movie This then gave me a list of 790 movies. Sorting the Radarr CSV and Emby CSV alphabetically to see whats missing I notice that some movies from the Emby filter show as not there, but when searching Emby they are. Is there a better way to do this? Why would some be missing from there? I did a fresh library update and statistcs update prior to all of this. No new files have been added to the library in the last 18hrs or so.
roaku 842 Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 Are the missing movies alternate versions of the same movie?
marauder 17 Posted December 4, 2020 Author Posted December 4, 2020 So I realized I forgot to subtract the movies from Radarr that are missing. I have Radarr setup to add the folder path even if the movie doesn't exist. That accounts for the 43 missing. So by accounting for that I am not missing any movies. But that then means I should have 800 movies in Emby and statistics is showing 819 and the DB pull shows 790. 1 of the movies as missing in Emby due to a file miss-spelling which I corrected and the movie got added. So now it appears it's just the issue with the DB vs statics total. What I found missing on the DB pull seemed to be random movies.
