Hi @@marcelveldt - sorry if this has been covered I haven't read the whole thread.

I am really liking the new(ish?) simple horizontal menu.  One small thing that bugs my though is that when you are on the left-most or right-most item, it gets the focus.  It would be less jarring if when you were on the first item, the focus stayed on the center selection and to the left was the last item and vice-versa.   Simply stated, the focus should always stay centered..

I get what you mean. The control is set to always focus the centered item but it seems that Kodi ignores that when it's the first or last item in the list. I'll see if I can fix in a workaround.

Cool - thanks.  Aeon Nox keeps it centered somehow - I looked at their code a bit but couldn't find what was different from Titan's.  Might be some trickery in the list itself.

I am seeing an error with the skin helper

Looks like files are missing, maybe an error occured while it was updating or something ?

Can you reinstall ?

latest beta is on the beta emby repo

yep, resinatlling Titan and the Skin helper fixed the error, weird Kodi let the addon be updated without a dependency being installed correctly.

Strange!, maybe the addon updated while the zip was not yet entirely replicated on the emby repo or something ?

Hello,

Is anyone here using mythtv as a backend for live tv?

I have noticed that the tv guide does not stay current. As in if I were to watch a show in the morning and I come back later the guide stays at the time frame from the morning, it won't advance to current time unless I back out of the guide and re-enter it.

Thanks

not to jump in, but i see this with a mythtv/az:exploded combo as well...  i have to back out to the home screen and relaunch the guide and then it will re-load with the current timeframe

id love a tip/hack to keep it updated automatically without the back and forth.

Same behaviour with Mediaportal as back end to.

Thanks, I'll take a look tonight. Will definitely be fixable :-)

I could have sworn Aeon Nox didn't do this - but it does.  Maybe it is only Nox4 that doesn't, will check tonight - but the version I linked to behaves the same as Titan.

I think its Kodi default bahaviour and out of the skins control

I managed to fix it with a few animations. Fix is in latest beta. Note that I added some settings to enable/disable fixed focus for the home menu and/or enable cyclic navigation

Marcel,

Is it possible to beef up the subtitle menu from the osd. If you have a title that has multiple subtitles it seems as if the osd prematurely closes when cycling through the subtitle options. I think it might also be better to present the subtitle options as a list Instead of just iterating through the options.

This is really a great skin and I appreciate all the hard work.

There is a setting in the skin settings to auto close the OSD if the OSD is unused for X seconds.

Looks like it is ignoring the subtitles menu, I will look into it.

As for presenting a list, it's by design in Kodi that it iterates through the available options instead of presenting a list. Maybe I can come up with a workaround for that, but I'm afraid that won't be possible as the skin has no info about the available subtitles.

When starting Kodi with Titan (Isengard) 66, the sync takes over 2 minutes.  The message when finished indicates that it is a manual sync.

Is there a way to set the sync not to run with each startup or is this expected?

No, it is in place to keep your library in sync with emby when Kodi goes offline. Do you have the fast sync server plugin installed, this should speed up the sync at start up. It is quite possible if you have a lot of updates server side, that it will fail to sync via the server plugin, hence why the manual sync is launched add-on side. But I can guarantee you this, once you go thru the start up sync, if you are to restart Kodi, you'd see the sync complete much faster.

Thanks. Fast sync is checked. However the latest startup ran for 15 minutes. Previously the start up sync ran 12 seconds or less. Would the Kodi log help?

Sure, however the issue lies in your server. For some reason, it's producing a lot of updates. A server log would probably tell you more.

Hi @@marcelveldt - new centered menu works well - but if you cut down the number of menu items too low, it starts leaving blank spaces.

I just noticed that a message flashes indicating that it is gathering info from new movies. It looks like all my movies are being treated as new each startup. Any idea what I can check on the server? Meanwhile I will run again to ensure a clean log.

It's doing the manual sync: pull content from server and compare with what's already there. It should actually be saying Comparing movies. A Kodi log would say more.

Thanks for the log. I know what the issue is. BTW next time, do not enable Kodi debug, it is not needed and makes it difficult to read your log.

Ok. Is it something I need to fix on my end?
