I will try to workaround it somehow but because you're on windows I don't think it's possible because windows "thinks" it's part of the path. Those media folders are cteated as video nodes by the Emby addon. We can either replace the illegal characters in the emby addon or you can name the folders somewhat differently...

Your collection names in Emby are like this: Filme (Anime/Filme) So, there's a slash in the path... That's why it fails. I'm already fixing the issue in the Emby addon btw.

Do the smart shortcuts actually work correctly ? So, clicking them will open the correct library ? The smartshortcuts btw represent the so called "video nodes" of the Emby addon. When you browse to "Videos" in Kodi you get that listing of all nodes. I will do some more tests, maybe it's the ( or ) that is failing on another level. I will provide you a testversion of the emby addon in a bit.

jluce50 122 Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 On two different installs (Win10 and FTV) the default widget for TV Shows isn't updating after a sync. It used to be if I stopped an episode and went back to the homescreen the incremental sync would run and the NextUp view would immediately refresh and show the percent viewed, but now it's not doing that.

I do have emby beta addon enabled and I tried from a fresh install of kodi 15 ( with just the emby plugin-latest beta and skin, nothing else). I do also have the options enabled in settings to allow smartshortcuts. Is this something that is missing from the beta, or am I doing something wrong?

But i've found some other "bad" characters: umlauts (ä,ö,ü) They are really not unusual in Germany. The behaviour in the Emby addon is even worse than with brackets - the complete video nodes are missing, even those without special charaters.

I had the same issue in v15. You can recreate the submenu and create custom actions Channels = ActivateWindow(TVChannels) Guide = ActivateWindow(TVGuide) Recordings = ActivateWindow(TVRecordings) Timers = ActivateWindow(TVTimers) Of note though the Channels menu opens but the page is frozen, all I can do with it is go back.

The update (version 3.4.0) has been submitted to the Kodi team but because of the holidays it takes a little longer to update it in the repo. Apologies for that. In the meanwhile you could try the beta version of the skin. See first post of this thread how to acquire the beta version of the skin. 1

Fo everyone who has issues with Isengard while using the 3.3.0 version of the skin or who is just curious about the new version and doesn't want to install the beta version, here is a direct link. Hi Marcel,I'm seeing the same as above on the latest stable version 3.4.0,just wondering is the script missing code.Or is it a mistake. I'm seeing it in on a test pc running Windows 10 and using isengard kodi. Thanks
