Only thing i would to know is to know if it is possible to show the collections in all movies. There are all films from my collections in seperate entries. When i use an extra menu shortcut with collections they show correctly but in all movies not. Settings in plugin are correct, other skins show it in groups! Greetz Stealth

Greetz Stealth Ah, great to hear it's working now. There should be a setting in the mediabrowser addon to collapse the collections. If you enable that it should be fine.

I use the MB3 web interface on other devices and it shows the TV show thumbs for next up episodes, which I prefer because I find it easier to locate the show I am looking for with the very distinct looking TV show thumbs. Episode thumbs are usually not that distinctive, resulting in more "searching". Edited February 10, 2015 by tube82

Greetz Stealth @@xnappo, do you have any notice of this ? I checked the code and it should collapse the boxsets as far as I can see but it doesn't. Also I was wondering if we can just follow the serverpreference for this. @@ebr stated to me that this setting is supposed to be done serverside but looks like we ignore that ? See line 288 of the skinhelperthread.py, that's where the collapsed path gets assigned
xnappo 1611 Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 I believe if we switched to the new User Views this would take care of itself. This is a pretty big change though... I won't have time anytime soon. Basically we need to parse the result of the new path I added to the root directory and build from that instead of the server root queries.

Well maybe I have some time next week to take a look at that. That new User Views option seems very nice to get consistent experience among all clients.

StealthDefender 29 Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 (edited) Tested a bit now. Problem occurs also in 1080xf skin now ( remember it worked for a while ). When i go to the addon under all movies the movies are all separetly. When i go under user folder (genre sorted) then all show in collections. Hope this helps! tube82 73 Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 OK.. done! Very nice, works as expected. Did you add a switch for this or did you just replace the episode thumb by the tv show thumb? I couldn't find a switch and I am not sure if everyone will like it better this way. I always like options, so I'd consider making it optional. Totally up to you though One more thing: With tv show thumbs being shown I think the title is obsolete and shouldn't be displayed on the tile because tv show thumbs always include the show name. The movies widget shows movie thumbs and doesn't show the title either.

They're now preloaded... The only thing is that all widgets get reloaded 5 seconds after you go back (from another page or playing video), I needed to do this in order to update the contents of the widgets. With normal Kodi libraries this wasn't needed but I guess the MB3 addon takes some time to update the played states etc. So, when you're on home and you browse around it must instantly show the widgets. If you leave the homepage and go back to home it will take 5 seconds before the widgets are loaded. The skinversion with this fix is version 3.2.54 btw

I have it set at 20 (the default) and it's very fast. About the FSK/MPAA rating: that is already listed in that section with the codec info etc.

Thanks for the detailed explaination, I will try to reproduce and if so, fix it. I think indeed this has something to do with settings interfering eachother. I'll keep you posted. BTW: just to be sure: You're using mediabrowser mode for the libraries ? I use 5 at the moment and it is not tvat fast, anyway.....Fsk/mpaa seems not to show in my constellation. Could be that i have used a wrong string with Germany: 12 etc. maybe the addon cant see this in the nfo. In the web interface it shows correctly. Maybe i can rename the string in the code of the plugin or skin. I take a look tomorrow. Greetz
