great skin,

 

Was wondering a couple of things.  Using the New Kodi, I am trying to get the log off button to appear.  I added it to the home screen, but it does not show.

 

also I have set up 1 profile for my kids pointing to there login, and another for me pointing to my login.  both profiles show the same kids content.

 

Do not know if the second one is skin related or plugin related.

That's strange, if you add a tile/shortcut to home it should offcourse appear in the list.

Did the menu build succesfull after you made the changes ?

 

I've worked today on a huge improvement in the menubuilding and will provide a new beta later today.

Maybe you could test with that version instead ?

 

Also, your problem about the multiple MB3 profiles was fixed some days ago in the XBMB3C addon but I don't think that's available allready in the stable version.

Just to be sure you could try the MediaBrowser beta repo.

Thanks, it does say it is rebuilt, and I know its working since it removed some of the menu items.  For some reason it did not add the Kodi->commands Log Off.

 

I will give it a look tonight.

Thanks for noticing, this occurs when some mediainfo is not known. Normally you'd see on the left the videocodec and resolution etc.

I can fix this by changing the aligment but maybe I can better hide it all the way because the info is not present ?

 

@@marcelveldt - on 3.2.18 I see you removed the media tags from Collections, Shows, and Seasons.  It looks like they're also now gone from Episodes though, and those I think should still be there.  Do you mind taking a look?

Ah, I found out why it isn't working. This is a known bug in the skinshortcuts script that has been fixed but not yet pushed to the repo.

You can manually install the script by installing the zip:

https://github.com/phil65/script.skinshortcuts/archive/master.zip

 

Just go to settings --> addons --> install from zip and point to the downloaded zip file and it should be fine.

 

I'll ask the script maintainer to do a push to the repo soon.

At my test machines they're present... Are you testing with the "fast data" option in the xbmb3c addon by any chance ?

Just noticed this afternoon that some data is missing if this is enabled.

 

EDIT: confirmed bug with fast data enabled, also happens on my system.

 

@xnappo: When "fast movies" mode is enabled some data is missing, like the plot, tvshowtitle and flags for episodes.

For movies things appears to be fine, it seems to be only wrong on the episodes

For all tvshows --> the flags are missing (both audio and video)

 

For user collection of type tvshows, episode level --> tvshow title is missing

 

For user collection of type tvshows, the "in progress", "next episodes" and "recent episodes" --> almost all data missing, like the plot, tvshow title thumbs etc.

 

Just found out this afternoon. Do you have a clue ?

New BETA version of the skin available on the beta repo!

 

- Massive speed improvement for the menu building (now only seconds).

- Improved widget assignments

- Fixed some styling issues and small bugs.

- Major improvements for MediaBrowser users

 

Version: 2.2.19 for Gotham and 3.2.19 for Helix.

 

Please try it out and let me know if you find any issues.

Because of the massive speed improvement I'd like to get this version to the stable repo asap

@@marcelveldt - can you test with the latest Git?  The top two I am pretty sure are fixed, I didn't see the third with missing thumbs etc - make sure you restart after turning on FastData and that there are no errors in your log.

The first two are fixed, I have the flags and the tvshow title again.

The third is still broken. I mean the sublevel of one of the usercollections:

 

xbmb3c.X.recent.path (and also unwatchedm inprogress, next etc.)

or

xbmb3c.usr.movies.X.recent.path (and also unwatchedm inprogress, next etc.)

or

mediabrowser.usr.X.recent.path

 

These work fine without the fast movies but not when it's enabled. I know that there are lot's of users that use links in the skins to their own collections so that's why I always test this part.

 

For example if I open the recent-episodes sublevel of my tvshows section it doesn't have a thumb/icon, tvshow-artwork, no plot, no details like flags/genre etc,

New beta of the skin is available for you to test.

Also the latest version of the xbmb3c addon (beta) has improvements on the userswitching, this should fix your problem with the tiles not matching your MB3 profile.

Okay.  Sadly I don't know how that works as the skin I use doesn't use it.  It sounds like the 'details string' for those queries is incorrect.

@@xnappo, one more issue I found (in all collections, also the global ones) is that the resume percentage is empty.

 

ListItem.PercentPlayed is just empty

Ok, finally installed this + latest mediabrowser (759) and i see my UFC section again but when i add it as a tile and then open it, it just goes into collections (boxsets)

Percentage in collections - you mean like BoxSets?

No, just the resume percentage for any item in the lists. So "all movies" or a specific collection that doesn't matter.

ListItem.PercentPlayed is not filled.

Ok, finally installed this + latest mediabrowser (759) and i see my UFC section again but when i add it as a tile and then open it, it just goes into collections (boxsets)

Aha, after long searching I found a little bug that was causing this. Fixed it and will provide a new beta later today.

If you allready would like to test it, please overwrite the attached "includesvariables.xml" file in c:\users\username\appdata\kodi\addons\skin.titan.beta\1080i

 

Close xbmc/kodi before overwriting the file.

Okay, still totally confused by the percentage thing.  The only thing we have ever set AFAIK is:

list.setProperty("complete_percentage", str(cappedPercentage))  

That is from the 'old' code.  I am setting the same thing in the new code, and it looks to be working fine in Aeon Nox:

I can certainly set a NEW property called PercentPlayed - but I am really confused as to why it worked before.  It works with 'Fast' disabled?
