Hello there,

Titan skin is not working on SPMC anymore.
I got "Unable to build menu" install log uploader blabla......
Also there is no settings button so I can't change anything
solution anybody?

Hi, I'm not familiar with spmc but could you send me your xbmc log please? You may do this here or in a PM. The skin uses the skinshortcuts script for processing all menus so I think we'll have to look there

Hi, thats not possible got only a blue screen so I can't get in otherwise I had changed the skin

Do you have file access or shell access to the box ?

In that case you can go to the xbmc directory and get the logfile. Also you can delete the skin.titan directory so the skin won't be loaded.

There must be some dependency missing on spmc why it's not working. Normal xbmc/kodi builds work just fine.

I'll try to get my android tablet installed with spmc to try it myself in case you cannot get the logfile

I've installed SPMC on my android tablet this morning and all is working fine. Both the stable and the beta versions of the skin work fine, no problems with the menu not beiing build at all.

So it must have something to do woth your setup or something so basically I need the xbmc logfile

Thanks for noticing, this occurs when some mediainfo is not known. Normally you'd see on the left the videocodec and resolution etc.

I can fix this by changing the aligment but maybe I can better hide it all the way because the info is not present ?

Yea, probably hide it all for those cases.

Thanks Marcel, I just starded over and everything is fine now. The onlything I can think of thats my app (spmc) getting to heavy 1.50gb. freshstart and something to do

I just encountered a weird issue. I just swicth profile back to my titan profile and after it loaded once again my tiles were messed up. My Tv show tile because playlist (with tvshow widget) and my UFC tile became Tv show. I usually have to exit Kodi and restart it but this time, it didnt fix it. Also When i try to add my UFC tile back, it doesnt appear under mediabrowser collection but if i start mediabrowser addon directly, its there. I think the screw of tiles happened because the UFC node isnt accessible. I notice that if this type of bug happens, Titan replaces the tile with a random section (ie: tvshow or playlist) and then skin loader just leaves it. Here are the 2 last logs maybe you can see something...

Thanks for the log, other then some errors in the skin (that are fixed in beta a while ago) I see no strange issues.

What I do notice is that you're using the beta version of the XBMB3C addon with stable version of the skin.

Please also use the beta version of the skin or use the stable version of the xbmb3c addon.

 

About the switching of profiles:

Do you have the same skin on both profiles or do the profiles also have another skin ?

The menu shortcuts are build into a file called "script-skinshortcuts-incldes.xml" it should only do this at changes, so if you manually edit the menu or when a skin update is available, not every time.

And yes, this can take some time, I noticed that with most recent version of skinshortcuts this is even a bit more slow then it was before.

 

Is it possible for you to send me that file ? It is located in c:\users\username\appdata\roaming\kodi\addons\skin.titan\1080i\

Yeah the order did change because i added my photos to mbs this weekend so the photo category was added. But the thing is that UFC isnt even in the list anymore. Is there a way to make it re-cache?

No, it just uses the content that's provided by the MediaBrowser server and if there's something changed serverside, the client will change too.

The problem is that if something is added to the list of collections in the MB3 server, the order of all items change and that's what you're experiencing.

The skin has a reference -for example- to tile 1 in your homemenu = collection item 3 from the MB3 server with name "my movies"

If the order changes at serverside and collection item 3 is no longer "my movies" it will display whatever has become "collection item 3"

It looks like when something is added serverside this is not added at the end of the list but instead the whole order changes.

Well the reason UFC isn't showing is because of your limit of 10 items.

Yeah, I'm currently extending that to 15 or 20 items so that will be solved later today.

You reported that your tiles were suddenly all messed up that's only possible if the order changes.

That was after I added the photos. But I did state in a previous post that when switching profiles to the titan one, I experienced this problem and that I had to restart kodi to fix it.

OK, that one should be fixed by now because we made some changes in the addon. I will upload a new beta of the skin somewehere within the next hours so please try that with the latest beta xbmb3c addon and I hope it's all solved than.
