AKSkinz 10 Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 Just finished setting up a new server and it was working great for a few weeks. Now when I try to play anything that is stored on my NAS I get the error message "No compatible streams are currently available. Please try again later or contact your system administrator for details.". I can play things that were recorded via Live TV and stored locally on the server just not anything else. Log files attached. In the ffmpeg log it states something about an invalid argument. I am running the latest version as it was just updated today but issue started before update. Version 4.5.3.0 ffmpeg-transcode-2ad66002-5772-4902-a97e-8119c3ac29f6_1.txt embyserver.txt
Luke 42092 Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 Hi, that's strange. As a test, can you try another file that doesn't have those symbols in the file name? Thanks.
Luke 42092 Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 Or maybe it's because your network share is unreachable: Application path: C:\Users\streamer\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system System.IO.IOException: System.IO.IOException: The specified server cannot perform the requested operation. : '\\MIRANDA\Media\Video\TV\American Gothic\poster.jpg' at System.IO.FileStream.ValidateFileHandle(SafeFileHandle fileHandle)
Solution AKSkinz 10 Posted December 4, 2020 Author Solution Posted December 4, 2020 I figured it out.... I had enabled it as a service but forgot to change the "log on as" to an account with access to the NAS shares. It's all set now that I updated the user/password on the service. 1
