Coudln't replicate the issue on my PC on MPC-HC

The web-player won't play it at all - no compatible streams error

Any ideas?

The Fire does not support DTS-HD.  Exactly how was the item playing?

It was playing fine if that's what you mean.  the only issue was the audio being OOS

Interesting when I check 'playback correction' on the fire tv app the audio is in sync.  What exactyl does this option do?

It depends on how the item was playing in the first place but it falls back to a different playback method. e.g. if direct playing, it will try a remux - if remuxing it will try a transcode.
