blim5001 8 Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 Have recently started playing around with my emby install again. But I have an issue when using the Identify option. I try to Identify a movie and it shows the movie, but when I click on the movie it found I get a broken image. This is what I get in the log file, an "Access token is invalid or expired" error message 2020-12-02 13:38:12.515 Info App: MovieDbProvider: Finding id for item: dune drifter 2020-12-02 13:38:12.515 Info HttpClient: GET https://api.themoviedb.org/3/search/movie?api_key=f6bd687ffa63cd282b6ff2c6877f2669&query=dune+drifter&language=en 2020-12-02 13:38:12.691 Info HttpServer: HTTP Response 200 to REDACTEDHOMEIP. Luke 42080 Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 Hi, it's resolved for the next release. Thanks.
blim5001 8 Posted January 5, 2021 Author Posted January 5, 2021 ok, thanks. Have updated to the beta and images now work for Movies. But when trying identify on TV Shows no images are shown. (Edit, had adblock enabled, I disabled that and now images shown but...) It seems be trying to load the banner rather than a poster.
Luke 42080 Posted January 5, 2021 Posted January 5, 2021 1 hour ago, blim5001 said: It seems be trying to load the banner rather than a poster. Because that's what comes out of the tvdb search api.
blim5001 8 Posted January 5, 2021 Author Posted January 5, 2021 ah I see. So if I want to see posters rather than banners I need to disable or reorder the Series metadata downloaders?
Luke 42080 Posted January 5, 2021 Posted January 5, 2021 No, you don't need to do anything. It's only during the Identify search process that you're going to see those banners.
blim5001 8 Posted January 5, 2021 Author Posted January 5, 2021 I understand it does not affect the actual series when matched, and that it is only in the identify window. I was refering to the identify window. It's just my OCD kicking in (and failing eyesight as I get older.) But it is harder to identify from tiny banners than from a poster as the design expects posters rather than banners. If I set TheMovieDb Series metadata downloader as the first option, then I get posters when using identify It has probably been answered elsewhere, but which tvdb api version is emby currently using and are there plans to switch to api v4, as that looks like it will return posters in the search query. (I know the answer to this may depend on what happens with emby and the new tvdb subscription model)
Luke 42080 Posted January 5, 2021 Posted January 5, 2021 Yes we are planning on updating to the v4 api once it has stabilized.
