GiGo 108 Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 Just wondering if there is a way of creating my own custom images for Cover Art? I know Cover Art was created wayback when things were called Media Browser and I personally feel the images in Cover Art are starting to look dated and would love to be able create my own. Cover Art art adds a nice touch to all my media but I would love to be able to update it with something a little more modern and be able to add my own personal touches. Also I have noticed (and it bugs me somewhat) that the background in the thumbnails aren't transparent; For instance with the TV Frame added on these images, under the screen and around the base isn't transparent. For this image I would love to be able have my own TV Surround colour, my own logo on the bottom of the TV (to replace emby and the logo), it would also be great to be able have different screen surrounds for different users, so in theory I could create a TV Surround that looks like the one the user will be using. I know it may feel like a small details, but being able to put our own twist on the Cover Art would be really nice.
PenkethBoy 2068 Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 in the programdata\cache\coverart folder are all the overlays (only those that have been used to date)
ebr 16169 Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 Hi. There is no way to do this at this time. 6 hours ago, GiGo said: Also I have noticed (and it bugs me somewhat) that the background in the thumbnails aren't transparent That is not CoverArt. That is the app showing a background on the image.

Yes emby is showing the background but one the large thumbnail at the top the background is transparent, but the smaller episode thumbnails are not, is this to do with CoverArt or the Emby?

If I understand correctly that is the placeholder background as it is not transparent. Server issue not CoverArt. Note the cache cleanup task will delete your custom treatments every 30 days. Just noticed it's the same in the App. Yes I figured that might be the case regarding the cache, however I've just noticed the edit I've done is on only some of the TV shows, guessing I probably need to refresh meta data for it it show up on all of my media.

In the web client (not online version) you can use custom css, but all other app/clients the devs will have to update them. div.details-additionalContent-withbackdrop .cardContent-shadow { background-color: transparent !important; }

Delete the contents of \cache\images.
