Emby can't detect my hauppauge card

Hey, I'm trying to use emby with my slightly dated hauppauge wintv-hvr-2250 card.  The card works fine with windows media center, so I know it's working okay.  Emby just tells me that it can't find it.  I've tried both the auto detect as well as the "Hauppauge" dropdown option, but no luck.  I'm attaching the logs.  Any ideas?

Hi there, what version of WinTV do you have?

Thanks for the reply, Luke.  I reinstalled WinTV10 and now it's working!  Not sure what the problem was, but thanks for the reply!

BTW, Emby is awesome. You all are doing really nice work here.

I'm having the same problem with my WinTV Quad card.

The Live TV Guide says:

Out of the box, Emby Server currently supports the following TV Tuners:
- HDHomerun Network Tuner (Models available for both OTA and Cable)
- Hauppauge TV Tuners (on Emby Server for Windows)
- M3U files (or urls). See examples of m3u files at http://xmtvplayer.com/build-m3u-file

Shouldn't it just work? Why do we need to install anything other than the drivers or does the KB need updating?

Hi, do you have WinTV 8.5 installed?

No this wasn't mentioned in the instructions - it just says out of the box it's supported.

Thanks for the heads up @johnhb  I added a small note to this so it helps the next person.  It now says:

Configure Your TV Tuner

Out of the box, Emby Server currently supports the following TV Tuners:
