ShoutingMan 101 Posted November 26, 2020 Posted November 26, 2020 I've got four seasons of "Community" on DVD ripped. I can play Season 1 and Season 4. But Season 2 and 3 won't play. MKV files play in MPV directly Emby in web browser, episodes play Emby Theater on Windows, episodes don't play Emby Theater on Shield, episodes don't play I tried deleting the season and adding it back it, and that didn't fix the problem. I've attached logs that I think cover me trying to play an episode and failiing on the Shield and succeeding in the browser. I think server and clients are up to date. Emby Server on Windows 10. I appreciate any help. Luke 42078 Posted November 26, 2020 Posted November 26, 2020 Hi, the ffmpeg log is from playing in chrome. Do you have examples from where it didn't play?

ShoutingMan 101 Posted November 26, 2020 Author Posted November 26, 2020 Doesn't look like Shield generates Server logs on the Windows server PC. I tried playing a file that works, and no transcode / hardware log.

A little more testing, ET on Windows just doesn't play stuff right anymore on my PC, apparently. That's a different issue from Shield which generally works,. Edited November 26, 2020 by ShoutingMan

ShoutingMan 101 Posted November 27, 2020 Author Posted November 27, 2020 ET on iPad works ET on LG TV (WebOS) works ET in Windows Edge (Chrome) works ET on Shield won’t play two seasons of a show ET on Windows also has problems, but might be other problems with ET on my PC It seems something specific to AndroidTV, and not with my rip, the server, or my library metadata. I’ll try to do the side load, see what that shows.
