For some strange reason the auto-update is not working.

A new version of Emby Server is available!

Version 4.5.2.0 is now available for download.

Hi, I've the same issue with my DS918+
I see in many post, many problem, with the manual upgrade to 4.5 version (during and after the update).

Did u have any problem after the manual update?.

If I can have an auto-update without problems I can wait. If manual is the only way I'll do it.

Yes you need ro upgrade manually. https://emby.media/synology-server.html

You'll have automatic as soon as we're in the official Synology app store.

What's the process for updating manually?  Is there a step-by-step, don't want to mess up my emby serve/lose settings etc.!  Just realised mine hasn't updated in a while and auto-updates aren't working

Hi, you simply install the latest version over the top of your existing installation by following the instructions on our website:

Yes, as soon as we're in the official Synology app store.

Awesome.  Any ETA on that Luke? Are we talking days, weeks, months?

And until then, it will only be possible to make manual updates every time a new version is released?

I've been following up with them on status, but it seems like they've put package reviews on hold until DSM 7 is released, so at this point we're kind of stuck waiting for that.

Synology just released DSM 7 so we need to be a bit patient with them as this is a big release.
As Luke mentioned they had put reviews on hold until after DSM 7 is released.

How long do you think it will be ? 1 year, 2 years ?

I know that is a little long but if it really has to be that long it is worth the wait! Guessing it won't be quite that long.
