Feature request....toggle Subtitles on/off for all played content

I pretty much have subtitles on almost all the time and I would like to be able to play the default subtitle every time I play a movie/TV show and turn them off if I choose.  In other words for me I would like subtitles ON to be default and choose per video to turn them off or change the language.  I'm doing a lot of testing and I also pause the video at times to check actor info in the middle of a movie so when I return I have to turn the subs back on again.  For me, it would be easier to just have subs on all the time, like many video players in Windows allow.

It would actually be nice to have this ability at the library or folder level too.  Some TV shows I want the subs on and some I don't and it would be nice to be able to set the default separately.

Hi there, have you explored your emby user preferences?

I will, if I can already accomplish this please tell me where.  I see nothing about this ability from the user menu in the dashboard.

Well, I hadn't until now.  Sorry, I didn't know any of that was even there.  I'm still in learning mode.  It appears my request was instantly granted....

This really  is an amazing program Luke.  I was a user of Media Browser a decade ago and then just stopped using it because I never used my media center except to record things for archiving as I collect movies.  When I finally got back into this hobby about a year ago after a many year hiatus I found Emby not realizing at first it was once Media Browser......Emby has changed how I use my HTPC and I am now using it almost every night to watch content on my Firestick since I bought the app....something I never did for a decade.
