Disable license-check for downloads?

I have an Emby lifetime subscription so downloads should work.

During a recent power-outage I figured I'd download a few things to my iPad before the UPS ran out.

It didn't work so I tried my iPhone - that didn't work either.

When power returned and I tried to figure out what went wrong downloading on both devices worked perfectly.

I figure there must be a networked license-check somewhere that failed because my internet was down.

If so, is there any way you can cache that check, maybe time-stamp it with expiration?

Had similar issue trying to watch my video library from my NAS during the power outage. Internal network working, but internet connection was down.

 

Basically was telling me I needed an Active Emby Premier that wasn't present while internet connection was missing.
