Hi all

Long time Plex user here trying out Emby.

Installation went pretty smoothly and I managed to add my movie and series directories in the library manager...Everything is found but for both movies and series I have no "'Main" posters for multiple items...maybe only 20-25% of movies have posters. It seems metadata is perfectly downloaded for each item as shown below.

Am I doing anything wrong or am I facing an issue of sorts? Let me know if I need to supply any relevant logs or similar.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Was you library still loading/refreshing at this point in time or has it completed initial scanning?

Can you post a server log as it may shed more light if there is a issue.

I finished the installation a week ago or so and It completed since then. Also, I've tried refreshing metadata and pictures a time since then, same result.

No backdrops are displayed neither....

I'll try and figure out how to get them out of my docker image, bit of a Unix rookie :) thanks.

You can go to Dashboard-Logs and download the if needed.

You can access the log files right from the web admin.  There is a logs menu choice.  Once you open that there are options to the right of each log and one of them is a download.

If you like I can do a remote support session with you via TeamViewer to take a look at your setup and make any suggestions to help you get this fixed up.  If interested send me a PM.

Thanks a ton to cayars

Took a look at my installation and found that I had configured it to write to the same folder as media contents which is in fact read-only - Made some modifications to the installation and voila, pictures downloading!

Really appreciate it mate, thanks!

Our pleasure to assist.  I'll give you a hand with the open sub issue as well when graphics are done.  But first try logging in directly to the Open Subs web page with your credentials, then re-type them in Emby just to make sure it's not a wrong/incorrect password or something simple.
