how can it be natively supported on Emby server like it is with HDhomerun?

is it needed some API from the manufacturer?

they too seem very interesting and all apparently are supported by the elgato app

I'm using HDR from some years with Emby an it is working super and wanted to extend the selection to SAT FTA

Regarding native support we'd have to look into it. If it becomes popular it's certainly a possibility.
