LiveTV refuses to play one station...troubleshooting ideas?

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

LiveTV has been working great except that it seems to hate KOLN-TV (10.6) locally.  It appears to be transcoding as the GPU is showing activity, however, it just never starts playing.

Where can I look to troubleshoot this?

I'm running a P2000 and Emby is running as an UnRAID docker.

I see this in the log:

ETA: On a side note this channel does seem to work on Plex so that's confusing.

Hi, Devs will need the complete server log file and the ffmpeg file.

Posted

ffmpeg log is showing Invalid frame dimensions 0x0 messages.

The android app is likely ok with this while ffmpeg is not.

@softworkz can you take a look at this?

OK, as a test, have you tried disabling hardware acceleration in server transcoding settings?

I just tried it.  Having it turned off doesn't make a difference on that specific channel as it still just sits there and spins but never starts playing.
