Can't add directory to library

Hi,

 

I'am moving my Emby to a new server. Therefore I did a manual backup and copied it to the new server. After initial start of the new server my users and data is available.

In th library Settings I see ro my 5 Libraries but there is no directory attached to them.

When I try to add it I receive an error. Translation means: Failure when adding a media directory. Please be sure the path is valid and the Emby Service has the necessary access rights.
I added the network share as a network drive with the same driver letter as on the old server and I can access it within windos without any problem.

Any idea?

I would clear the browser cache - it's possible there are still some elements of the previous install which is confusing things.

I would also personally always use UNC share names - so \\nas\<sharename> rather than z:\<sharename> as an example.

Hi, also make sure the USER you are running Emby as has proper permissions to the share.
