Some films not listed on TV but do get listed on PC

Title says it all, but just to add, the Sony TV is using DLNA or something like that, not an installed app.

I would say about 30% are not listed on TV

Ok I would take a look at the default user option under dlna settings.

Hi,

User under DLNA is set to Kids.

The TV does list some other films from the kids folder of films, just not all of them.

Could it be a TV profile issue?

It could be, yes, if the tv doesn't support the format.

This is just a shot in the dark but the same thing I noticed with an external hard drive that was not formatted with ntsf. When I hooked up an external drive that was ntsf it then showed all content on all tv's and devices. Hope that helps.
