How can I restore the movie collection database that I accidentally deleted as a library?

Did you delete your files in the library or just delete the path to your files by deleting the library entry in the dashboard?  If the latter just add the path to your file store back into Emby.  I do this occasionally when I do a bunch of reorganizing on my hard drives.

Can you answer Ronstang's question and give us more info?

I have deleted the Collections item in the server section 'LIBRARY'.
How to fix this?

If you just deleted the "collections" part of your library then all your files are there you just need to recreate it by adding movies from your library to a new collection or collections.  Now if your XML file is still there or has a back up then Cayars may be able to help you resurrect it easier.

I was curious when I learned Flemish :)

Why did you do that?

Sorry for this late response Luke,
I had removed the 'COLLECTIONS' library because I wanted to create a 'spanned volume from 2 physical disks. Of the files that were on the original disk, I had to backup first and then format the original disk after which the 'COLECTION' library would no longer follow the correct path ((Think / Thought).
The 'COLLECTION' library has now recovered by itself.
