Unpleasant transition effect between pages

Hello, I'm not sure if it's just me, but I find the new page transition effect unpleasant.  I prefer the old method which corresponds to the web interface.  When we flank through our collection, it's an interesting effect for the first 2-3 pages, but it quickly gets irritating.  Please take this into consideration.
