Emby starting the wrong Quality

Hi

Since today when i start a video file that ive got 2 times. One with 1080p and one in 4k emby is starting the wrong file. I want to watch the 4k File. But im getting 1080p. With only one quality, only 4k, im getting the correct one

In emby and in Kodi/vlc

Hi.  I didn't see any playback in your app log.  Are you selecting the version you want in the drop-down on the detail screen?

Yes i select the correct quality and send a new log right now

Yes, but the error also happens sometimes, not everytime with the emby player too

What it for me fixed now is seperate the 4k movie library and the 1080p movie library. Before ive got one library and grouped same movies together

Ok. i can use two different versions in one library, but when i group them it always plays the lower resolution. When i split them it plays the correct.

So you are manually grouping these items?  What if you use our naming conventions to have them grouped automatically?

I cant use that because ive got them in different path and folders. Because i dont want that everyone can access 4k movies. Or did i Missed something There?

doesnt work, because they are in different paths. But with series it works, they are also in different paths and emby group them automically

You've restricted user access to transcoding. This is probably affecting the decision making. Try undoing that and see if it helps.

Now it suddenly work and suddenly not, i dont understand it 

External player in ATV app always playing the lower resolution, emby player sometimes 4k, sometimes 1080p

Let's ignore the external player for a moment as that is introducing more variables. What is happening in the web app?
