jpf55 0 Posted November 2, 2020 Posted November 2, 2020 (edited) I have 3 Macs , one iMac(2010) and 1 Mac mini,(2012) run OS 10.13.(High sSerra) and the other Mac mini(2014) runs 10.15(Catalina). On all three I use Emby for Kodi. Initially, I was running NSF manager. but I read that it has issues with Catalina. I turned off NFS Manager and changed the path addresses accordingly in Sources but the sync is not as fast as it was. Should I re-implement NFS manager for better sync between the three Macs or is it ok to continue with SMB? Should I use AFP? Thanks in advance Edited November 2, 2020 by jpf55
jpf55 0 Posted November 2, 2020 Author Posted November 2, 2020 (edited) the contents of my Emby database, new titles, watched titles and deletions between all three Macs Edited November 2, 2020 by jpf55
Luke 42077 Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 Hi, as far as emby server is concerned it doesn't really matter. Whichever protocol allows you to import your library folders into emby server will be fine. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks !
