Emby Installation Error : emby.tmg, invalid app package for security check failed!

V86 does not work for me - UN65MU8000 with latest firmware.

V85 works fine.

Every TIZEN file has worked up to this one. My TV model [TV]QA65Q8CAM (Gives invalid emby.tmg APP for security check failed)

Reinstalled last version 1.0.78 and works OK again.

Tizen Version 1280

Downloaded a previous version from this topic and works fine. I guess it is v1.0.85 since it has modification date 29/10/2020

Are your TV timezone settings and date set correctly? If not then please fix it, then uninstall and then reinstall the package and see if that helps. Thanks.

My time zone and date were correct.  But, since Samsung's firmware turns DST off on the wrong date, the time was off by an hour.  After setting the correct time, uninstalled the emby app.  Still had the same error installing v86.  Re-installed v85 without a problem.

Do you still have the zip from the previous month?  Just reload that one for now until a fix can be made.

Suffering from this same problem. i do not have version 85 as i delete after each install and i must uninstall before installing new app on my tv. where can you get version 85 please.

Same problem on Samsung UE82NU8005.

And bug on version 85, the navigation on the home screen does not work for me.

And most importantly, how to deactivate the update notification? it is very unpleasant to have to uninstall the previous version and install the latest version from a USB stick. This notification should be optional.

You could change the region on your TV to US or UK, but the usb method is probably the best method.

 

What model TV?

What kind of error are you getting with the usb install?
