davedick 19 Posted November 2, 2020 Posted November 2, 2020 I'm having an issue with my Emby server where the Start menu and Action Center won't do anything. I've pretty much tried everything with the exception of creating another User Account (which I did). When I logged into it, I noticed that Emby wasn't part of that account. What is the best approach for migrating the Emby data from one user account to another? While I'm hoping this is doable, what I'm really hoping is that I don't have to do a full reinstall and setup. Thanks Here is what I'd suggest. Copy the Emby-Server (Emby shut down) directory which will normally be installed on Windows like: C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server To the new location. Then after coping this folder over install Emby while logged in as the new user. Then load Emby, go to the dashboard and verify that PATHs shown on that page are using the new location. If not post back here for help on how to change specific directories.
