Silentalero 5 Posted November 2, 2020 Posted November 2, 2020 (edited) Im including the log, Basically this is going across every device local and remote. To start, nothing has changed in my computer setup or network setup and my internet speed is 600mbps so speed shouldnt be an issue. However when im watching it stops mid episode and loads, or even worse sometimes itll lag the audio to video and even slow down the audio where the voices dont even sound like they are suppose to. (lagged low bass audio). At first I thought it was just me, but now even my brother who views remotely is having the same issues. I can reset everything until im blue in the face but im at the point I have no clue why it recently decided to start doing this. All devices are Roku related btw Some hard wired, some wireless. Luke, maybe youd have an idea on whats going on? ffmpeg-transcode-c8bd6283-5d07-49c9-8d9e-b5b34095b3fb_1.txt Edited November 2, 2020 by Silentalero
Carlo 4561 Posted November 2, 2020 Posted November 2, 2020 (edited) Hi, Looks like a faulty file based on the ffmpeg log. Did you look at the log? Have you tried playing back multiple files. Edited November 2, 2020 by cayars
Silentalero 5 Posted November 2, 2020 Author Posted November 2, 2020 Just now, cayars said: Looks like a faulty file based on the ffmpeg log. Did you look at it? Ill be honest, i have no idea hat to look for in the logs
Carlo 4561 Posted November 2, 2020 Posted November 2, 2020 That's ok. Got to start some where. When I'm looking at the log things are looking good then you start seeing: 18:41:47.330 [aac @ 00000262d615ff40] Queue input is backward in time 18:41:47.330 [segment @ 00000262d6159600] Non-monotonous DTS in output stream 0:1; previous: 85722240, current: 85496640; changing to 85722241. This may result in incorrect timestamps in the output file. This starts repeating at that point. So it looks like it could easily be an issue. So the obvious things is try playing back other media and if an issue take a quick scan through that log if a problem.
Silentalero 5 Posted November 2, 2020 Author Posted November 2, 2020 That makes sense, so ihave played other media and its hit and miss (movies ive watched before). But today my brother was watching a movie and said hes having the same issues, so that prompted this post. Told me his is doing the exact same thing as i had.
Carlo 4561 Posted November 2, 2020 Posted November 2, 2020 Do you have the log files from that playback?
