Ceten 27 Posted October 29, 2020 Posted October 29, 2020 I just updated the server on my Synology to the last version but still no Halloween theme here and I didn't see any holiday themes on my LG TV last year. I remember seeing it in 2018 and loved it though!@Luke should the theme be visible in all apps and the web interface or has it been removed from some?
FrostByte 5392 Posted October 29, 2020 Posted October 29, 2020 If it doesn't kick off automatically then you should be able to make it your theme in settings. I had to do that on my Samsung.

And even in my childhood it was nothing like now - we'd put up the tree on Christmas Eve, for instance, and take it down on Twelfth Night (more recently I've seen people throwing out their trees on Christmas Eve as over and done with!). I almost never visit stores and, when I do go, the crowds are so sparse that many of the stores have not bothered to have any in store music. I might actually enjoy this Christmas season for the first time in over twenty years.

Not automated but you have library access or tags to do this, depending on your setup.
Carlo 4561 Posted October 29, 2020 Posted October 29, 2020 Either way works but using tags is probably better as you don't need a separate library that way. For Christmas movies you could actually hide them if you wanted most of the year but activate them a couple week before/after the holiday and even make them the only movies available on that day if you wanted.
